Here you will find out information about Fieldy's Ibanez K5, Munky's APEX, Head and Munkys K7 and Ray Luzier's set up.

Ibanez K7 (Head and Munky)

The K7 is a seven string guitar created by Head and Munky and manufactured by Ibanez. The guitars were originally available in two finishes, Firespeak Blue (Munky) and Blade Gray (Head). They came factory tuned to KoRn signature tuning: A, D, G, C, F, A, D. They were retailed at USD $1.799. The mahogany body and deep metallic sound is well suited for KoRn's musical style. The last year of production was 2006. Although Head did not use 7 strings on his debut album, Save Me From Myself, he still uses his original K7's as his exclusive signature guitar. The K7 is seen in Head's video for Paralyzed.

Ibanez K5 (Fieldy)

Fieldy got an endorsement deal with Ibanez soon after the breakthrough of KoRn. The five string K5 bass is designed by Ibanez along with Fieldy and includes a Mahogany body, Rosewood fretboard with 24 frets and a K5 inlay at the 12th fret, gold hradware, two active pickups and a Vari-Mid EQ. Fieldy tunes his basses to A, D, G, C, F. He also turn the midrange and EQ down at 180Hz.

Ibanez APEX (Munky)

The Ibanez APEX is the official replacement of the K7 and only links to Munky. As of 2010, the tremolo of the guitar changed to a Lo Pro 7 with a U-bar. In 2011 the Apex100 replaced the Apex1. The Apex100 is seen the the image above. They also come tuned to KoRn's signature tuning A, D, G, C, F, A, D. The price for the Apex100 is at USD $2499.99 and the Apex2 at USD $933.32. The Apex1 had a DiMarzio Paf 7 (H) Neck and Bridge pickup like the Apex2.
